As the child of a teacher for the Department of Defense Dependent Schools system, I've had the privilege of living abroad in Japan and Germany, and I further enriched my travel experience with time abroad in France, Italy and Spain during my undergraduate experience. After completing my BA at St. John's University in New York City, I joined the team at Grind to manage a members-only collaborative office space in Midtown Manhattan, curating a diverse community of startup entrepreneurs, fresh freelancers and seasoned accelerators in a 22nd century workspace. On the side, I pursued the arts with a variety of non-profit theater organizations ranging in size from the New York Neo-Futurists at the Off-Off Broadway Kraine Theater the American Repertory Ballet and productions at NYU's Skirball Center. After moving back to Texas to be closer to family, I engaged in freelance work through Grind-based startup CloudPeeps, executing community management and strategy for global clients such as Bottle Shop Concepts in Australia and CloudApp in California. I completed my MA in Psychology at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi, as well as additional education at Rice University, Baylor College of Medicine, and the Texas Medical Center. My role as the Senior Project Coordinator in Epidemiology & Population Sciences at Baylor College of Medicine allows me to contribute to a variety of health and education programs throughout the community, including the Houston Viral Hepatitis Task Force, the Baylor College of Medicine STEM Outreach Center, and the Houston Recovery Initiative.
